Belgian Hip-Hop producer Alex Lustig is at it again. He’s been consistently dropping fiery chillwave for some months now – but his latest offering, ‘U’, is our favourite. Taking an understated approach, ‘U’ marries a gorgeous piano riff with chunky beats, atmospherics and a mysterious, coaxing vocal: 'Give me your coat, I will build a sailing boat for us, staying afloat, only U and I will be fine'. It seems, therefore that that gamble has paid off for lustig. A seasoned producer, he used to work for the lies of Dizzy Wright, Young Thug and BJ the Chicago Kid, and only this year has set about dropping beats of his own. We can’t wait to see where this new venture takes Alex Lustig next. -HM
